Color Correction for Note by Note
I color corrected Ben Niles' standard definition documentary feature Note by Note: The Making of Steinway L1037 (masterfully edited by Geoff O'Brian).
An important goal was to unify the look of 12 months of footage, shot in locations as diverse as Alaska, Steinway's Astoria factory, and their Manhattan showroom. Special emphasis was given throughout to preserving and matching the natural wood grain of the pianos, and to preserving and enhancing the natural golden tones of the source footage.
