Color Correction for Site Specific
I color corrected director Matt Kohn's high definition architectural documentary Site Specific, produced by Metropolis Magazine. Shot and edited in DVCPRO HD, this project combined still images that I color corrected in Photoshop with the source video, color corrected in Final Cut Pro.
One of the fundamental goals was to show the high school building—which is the focus of the piece—unflinchingly in its current run-down state, yet to highlight the brilliance of its design which can yet be restored. Throughout, adjustments were made to compensate for available lighting conditions, as well as to accentuate the lush green beauty of the Florida landscape.
